Demso Diamond Drilling and Sawing are a concrete cutting and specialist demolition contractor operating a nationwide service from our base in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire. With over 30 years experience in the concrete cutting industry our team’s knowledge, expertise and professionalism is second to none.
With a highly trained and experienced workforce together with the most up to date methods and equipment we pride ourselves on delivering a fast, reliable service on time every time and with your budget always in mind.

What we do
Twelve services, one contractor
Everything below is carried out by our own trained operatives, using our own plant.
Diamond Sawing
Floor, wall, wire, ring and chain sawing, plus chasing. From an 8mm tucking cut to 750mm severance cuts.
- Floor SawingCuts to 625mm deep in slabs, roads, bridge decks and car parks, for section removal or expansion joints.Details
- Wall SawingTrack-mounted, remote-controlled cutting to 750mm deep. Vertical, horizontal, angled or inverted.Details
- Wire SawingFor the most demanding structures. Cuts anything from reinforced concrete to solid steel, at almost unlimited size.Details
- Ring & Chain SawingHand sawing in two forms. Ring saw to 250mm, chain saw to 650mm, for openings and severance cuts.Details
- Wall & Floor ChasingChases of any size in concrete, brick, block, render, stone and screed, under full dust and water control.Details
Drilling
Cored holes from 6mm to 1.2m diameter, at virtually unlimited depth, in any orientation.
Demolition
Controlled removal: remote-operated machines, hydraulic bursting and crunching, and cut and lift.
Other Services
Survey, preparation, fixing and fire protection work that runs alongside the cutting.

- FerroscanningScan reinforcement to 300mm deep before you cut. Size, depth of cover and deterioration, with a full report.Details
- Surface PreparationGrinding and planing for surface reduction, polishing, coating removal, or keying a surface for a new coating.Details
- Anchor Fixing & TestingChemical and mechanical anchor installation, plus pull testing to 145kN with a full report on every fixing.Details
Method
Quiet, clean and off the vibration register
Most of our methods are water cooled or hydraulic rather than percussive. That is why the work is dust free and vibration free, why it does not impact on the surrounding environment, and why HAVS is taken out of the job.
- Dust free
- Water-cooled cutting and drilling, with the slurry collected by filtration vacuum and disposed of under our environmental policy.
- Vibration free
- Bursting, wire sawing and cut and lift remove structure without breaking it up, so the dangers of HAVS are eliminated.
- Remote operated
- BROKK machines are run from up to 30 metres away, clear of falling debris and open edges. Wall saws are remote controlled too.
- No fumes
- Three-phase electric plant can be used in sensitive areas where fumes would not be acceptable.
